how do u get off oxys with out rehab? my boyfriend is in the biggest shit hole right now because of them i was too at one point and went to rehab and now i am back on my feet..anyways i have begged and begged him to go to rehab and he wont he tells me rehab is for quitters like its some kind of joke...but yea he really needs to quit we have a kid together and i know he puts his addiction before our kid and that is what makes me angry
Thats not cool at all. The first step is to get him to want to stop. If he doesn't want to stop, he probably won't and you'll be wasting your time. Then he needs to gradually taper down his doseage untill it's very small. Then he should just stop taking them. He may go through withdrawal, but don't let him take more during this time. He needs to completly go through the stage of withdrawal before his body will be used to the lack of oxys. Taking more will most likely extend the suffering. I can understand not wanting to go to rehab, but IMHO if you have kids and you see them as less important then drugs you have a problem.
