Now before I explain what happened please no one tell me how dangerous triple c's are because I know that the CPM can be dangerous, but I personally have never had problems from them but I would not suggest to anyone else that they take DXM in the form of triple c's since everyone is different. The whole reasoning behind this is that at wal-mart they sell a generic version of Coricidin Cough & Cold for $1.92 a box which contains 480mg of dxm (plus 64mg of CPM). This is the cheapest source of DXM, and walmart is the only store I know of that carries a generic of triple-c's. So yesterday I decided to go to walmart to get the dxm that I would take today after class so I could start a little earlier as I would not have to waste time taking busses to walmart. So I miss the 1st bus that transfers to the one that goes to walmart so I end up having to walk way too many blocks to catch that bus but I finally arrive. I know exactly where they are in the store so I grab 3 boxes as I thought that 3 boxes was the sales limit in the registers at walmart and go to check out at one of the cashier lines. Get up there and she rings it up, but says there's a problem and walks off with it to talk to a manager or something, comes back and says there's a recall and that it won't allow the sale. I tell her to try ringing up just two but she says it won't allow the sale of that product because theres a recall. I saw the bullshit and went and got another box (they were well stocked with that shit, had way more of those boxes than anything else) and went to the pharmacy counter and tried checking out with just 1 box, and checked out just fine. No way was I leaving empty handed. Now I have 1 box, and I was really hoping to have at least 1 box extra...I'm thinking about walkin up to rite-aid in a few minutes to get a bottle of robo-gels which costs over 5 dollars. There's a good chance I'll be offered various other drugs on teh street walking to and from rite aid. I just don't see how they can tell me some bullshit because they just don't wanna sell it to me but I go to the pharmacy and they didnt say anything about a recall. If there really was a recall on some medications they would be the ones to know about it right? I guess I'm off to rite-aid to look at their dxm products...hopefully they're not all stolen. Update: just got back from rite aid with a botlle of rite aid long acting tussin cough relief gels with 15mg dxm per pill for a total of 300mg dxm...cost $5.99 I plan on taking the gel caps first, already took 60mg temezepam and 200mg 5-htp...when those kick in i'll take the triple c's and combine it all with 5fur-144!
i know this, but i've heard and suspect that the extra serotonin potentiates dxm, it also potentiates 5fur-144 i was mostly referring to the temazepam kicking in i just took the bottle of gelcaps i got from rite aid (300mg) about 30min ago and waiting to start feeling the effects
why did you wanna take a benzo before taking DXM? i know benzos dull the effects of psychedelics, not sure if they do the same for dissociatives. it's stupid to take triple Cs. it's dangerous. sorry, but it needs to be said.
yea, benzos totally kill a psychedelic trip..clonopin is said to potentiate dxm not sure if temezepam or possibly all benzos would have the same effect, that's what i'm gonna find out and yes I know its stupid to take triple c's but im doing it anyway I just can't resist the price.
first time i heard about triple c's was back in middle school. they found some kid in one of the hallways who took to many of them or something and he was pretty ill.
They probably did that because they knew that no one who was sick would try to buy three boxes at once, and they don't want someone to die on their watch. I mean come on. There's shit in there that can kill you in such high doses. Go for the robo gels with just dxm. Suck it up and pay the 6 dollars because you'd probably pay a hell of a lot more for acid, or a hospital trip because you overdosed on Acetaminophen.
The last time I took DXM I didn't consider that I had taken 100mg of Thorazine earlier in the day (many hours earlier) ((I was at a different place in my life than I am now, too...)) and I had some really severe panic and confusion. The next morning I woke up with my world going in frames and colors smearing. I couldn't walk or talk or eat or anything, and spent all day in bed but mostly unable to sleep. I've had DXM hangovers but nothing like that day... I was resolved to make it to the hospital one way or another the next day if I didn't feel better, but I was thoroughly relieved to be able to sleep and wake up more or less fine the following morning. I found that using DXM compulsively- i.e. often enough where an unhealthy and dangerous $1.92 is more of a value than a relatively safe $6- really got old quickly, and even then, I didn't even realize it was old until many months later.
it's like 4bucks more to buy the rite aid store brand gel caps which has 300mg compared to the 480mg in a box of walmart triple c's for $1.92

Hey man I know Tripple'C is cheap theres a store here in town other than walmart that has boxes for 2 bucks a pop. I used to habitually buy that shit one or two boxes at a time. CPM is very unhealthy for you, and the price you pay isn't worth the feeling you get especially after it wears off, you're left with the damage. If you're going to dex anyway, I highly recommend you keep your standards up, buy the quality shit, gel caps or dex only formula products. Its your body, its your life, its your high, make the best of it. If anything, save the 2 bucks instead of 3 boxes, buy 1 good quality product for 6 bucks, that's less usage, so less tolerance, better highs and better quality ingredients in your better highs. Do what you want, cuz ultimately you're the one whose going to have to live with the consequences of whatever you choose to do.
yeah, well I actually decided that you all were all right, and haven't done triple c's since. I mean I knew better to begin with than to take triple c's, I don't know why I was going against all good reasoning and doing that dumb shit. Besides CVS has some pretty good deals these days on their dxm only products, but DXM is loosing it's appeal again, at least for a while. I never have thought that dxm held that great a place in the realm of dissociatives. I think it has too much sigma activity maybe compared to other dissociatives causing it to really twist your mind in an uncomfortable way.
It's always worth it to pay more for a better product you get what you pay for! this applies to so much in life.
