That's great that you are integrating effects from the trips into your everyday life as well! I love the album The Wall when sober or stoned but the general tone of it overall is very dark, gloomy and depressing subject matter. From what I remember the movie had hints at like facism and the faceless children going through the meat grinder mostly with sort of unmistkably 80's feel that just felt 'uncomfortably weird'. Shrooms do have a different headspace than acid but I'm not sure I'd try The Wall out on acid either, I've listened to Wish you were Here and DSOTM on shrooms and enjoyed them immensely so maybe The Wall just isn't a album for tripping for me or perhaps my mindset at the time was not vibing with the movie. Cool you were able to enjoy it though.
Wish you were here is by far my favourite album, and by far my favourite for tripping on anything (Listened to the whole thing for the first time on my first dose of mushrooms). Wish you were here, IMO, is the peak of Pink Floyd's instrumentals and somewhat the peak of lyrical writing. The newer recording equipment and the higher level of experience come together to make an amazing album. DSOTM, you can feel that it was made on older equipment and made by people less experienced. Also, the message of Dark Side is kind of bleak, you'd have to just not care about your own sanity or your life to ignore the message of DSOTM, especially on acid. The wall wasn't too bad when I heard it tripping, but as was said it has a darker tone. It felt too much like it was meant to be heard by Brits too.
I've been told it makes no sense watching it sober, by a friend who's seen it a few times, both under and not. It made a lot of sense the other night, to me at least
It may sound weird, but Superbad is actually a great movie to watch while tripping. There are MANY jokes that people miss watching that movie sober. My friend put it on for us this past summer while we were tripping one time. We laughed so hard that we cried at some point, and that was at jokes we'd never noticed.
