or tim hortons.. or whatever coffee place.. i dont drink coffee.. lol but i always get medium decafe pumpkin spice latte, made with soy milk and no whip cream.. its soo good.. lol
Triple short latte. The great thing about Starbucks is you know what you're getting in every single one. They make the same cup in every one
never been in a starbucks, and have never drunk coffee, in my life. i think someone brought me a hot chocolate from there once, though, it was nice, so i guess i'd have that, unless they do tea.
i am anti tim hortons now....i fucking detest having to go there and avoid it at all costs starbucks on the other hand rocks...i fucking love the place....got crushes on at least 3 babe-istas always order grande dark unless i am going on a real long drive and then i get the venti dark
iced mocha is my standard. unless its really cold and storming, then i'll have it hot. tried the frappe, it was too much like a slushi. good flavor, but i don't love brain freeze. la bou used to make a decent esspresso, but they seem to have "downgraded" somewhat. i'm not sure what happened, i'm sure the economy is the excuse, but they don't seem to be willing to have enough people to keep things from falling apart. i'm guessing ownership of the franchise has changed hands, or something did. i think this corporatizing of retail is why out of control. i remember little mom and pop expresso joints run by hippies. like the first salad bars back in the early 70s that were absolutely heaven. we don't have that tim thing out here, yet. looks like it would be just another meaningless name on the same disposable cup. there's a little place, that just has two places as far as i know. its called the flour garden bakery. there i'll have a cornish pastie and a cup of the fair trade house decaf. i miss the rainbow mountain inn that used to be next to the good morning grocery that was run by the people from ananda. or the little place up in soda springs that made its own ana dama bread.
I have never been to Starbucks. I just could not justify spending that kind of money on coffee. I prefer to make coffee at home. I like coffee black and strong.
Order everyone into the back room and on the floor.,. THIS IS A STICK UP!!!!.. listen you little rich yuppie fuck dont even try to be a hero..:eggnog:
I usually stop at whatever gas station is on the way to where I'm going and get a 20 ouncer, black. Usually the strongest one they have.
Starbucks is my favourite. If it's a coffee I want I usually get a pike place but next time i'm going to get the blonde roast. And i put a ton of sugar in it. Recently though i've been getting peppermint mocha frapps. Mcdonalds (if there is no Starbucks) i get medium triple triple. Tim hortons (if there is no Starbucks or mcdonalds) i get small triple triple.
I love coffee and drink it every day but not in specialized coffee places. It's not only out of principle but also out of plain lack of interest in all those customized tastes (I just want good coffee) and of course lack of funds. You can get just as good tasting coffee for less money almost everywhere (only place I buy coffee every once in awhile would be the gas station as well). Yes, I say fuck customized specialized and overpriced coffee! Plain black with a bit of milk and no sugar is the best stuff anyway.
Seriously, fuck Starbucks. If I want coffee, I will make it at home. Most of the shit Starbucks sells doesn't even taste like coffee. I am also a plain black coffee drinker. I've got one of those Keurig single serve machines. I really like Green Mountain Coffee's 'Sumatran Reserve', which is an organic, extra bold, dark roast coffee.
