I have never in my life seen this happening but it is. LSD, along with many other psychedelics are flooding many different sub cultures. I rememeber years ago, people like me and you were kind of un heard of to younger generations. Not many people knew what it means to be a psychonaut. Things are changing, people are turning on, I am seeing it every day. And not just in my circle of mass communal events I attend. The whole electronic music thing, (which Im not a huge fan of) is becoming loaded with turned on people, who finally get what im saying. Na mean? The light is flooding, even the mainstream. This generation of youth, is a turned on one.

And I feel good things coming. This current, is new. These vibrations are different, but strangely positive in the midst of all the negativity happening. People are waking up. Spread love people, spread light. It is our mission now, as psychonauts, to help these younger heads really see what its all about.

Yeah I think it is because we are escaping from the fear of the War on Drugs. People are beginning to discover that acid isn't as bad as they have been telling you.

You mean people now are taking Psychedelic drugs to that weird ass electronic music that plays repetively for hours upon hours?

Sounds like a novel concept but i don't buy it.

    "Novel" concept?

It was new in 1998. DMT, ketamine and 2C-B were "the new thing" back then, now they're becoming mainstream! I know ketamine flows around the electronic, hip-hop and punk rock scenes in my city, so do shrooms, acid, MDMA and DMT. The rave scene is the most cutting-edge one, you can find pretty much anything you can dream of at parties, even what you didn't even think would exist.

I also agree on the "good vibes" thing mentioned in the opening post, hippies children (or even grandchildren sometimes) are turned on big time.

I think part of it could be the more recent increase in availability.

It's becoming easier and easier to gets your hands on the good stuff, with reviews and seeming protections... That's what helped me experiment, at least.

I've always been interested, since I was a teenager... Just never been able to find a good quality source.

Its been like that since the 60s, acid and music! Thing that has changed is the selection. Now its acid, ecstasy, ketamine, 2c-x, methalone, and music!

But yes the vibes are raising, music is no longer recognizable anymore, its completely changed. Boundaries are be broken everyday, and life is becoming more and more connected. Tis the time for the next level, tis the time for the accession.

It's ridiculous that some people are criticized and obviously punished in our society/culture today for using psychedelics. I personally don't think stimulants should be allowed, but I think psychedelics should be allowed. It's almost like persecuting us for our beliefs. A lot of us have legitimate justifications for using psychedelics like acid, psilocybin, etc.

I think that there have been 'psychonauts' since the invention of LSD. I think our society is just finally becoming more open, where we can talk about things that were stigmatized or taboo, such as depression or domestic abuse, or the exploration of mind altering substances for the benefit of science. The word psychedelic comes from the greek words 'psyche' and 'manifest' which makes a lot of sense for someone who has done LSD before. I know some people who experiment with mushrooms and perform tests on themselves, which is something I would do if I did a copious amount because the results are really interesting. I mean, most, if not all the mainstream drugs we have right now were intended to be marketed as some kind of medicine.
