there are these people a few blocks down that really get into it every day.. i mean lit up moving reindeer, lights all over the house and the trees and the fence....

 

they're gonna have a big powerbill

 

That's so crazy! Nobody puts that much effort into Christmas decorations where I live. How do they (and their neighbors) sleep with so much light outside?

 

yeah it's strange cause we could see the glow of the house from a mile away. but the house takes up like a 1/2 of a block so i dunno how many neighbors they have.

wow.....the weirdest part about that to me is that they seem to have some kind of fake snow laid out among the palm trees.....but those lights are nuts. there's this place near where i live,this little tiny trailer.....and they have the whole yard decorated, lights in every tree. and you know those gigantic inflatable light up santas and snowmen and shit.....i counted 12 of those in their yard. it's in the middle of a field on this long flat road,and you just see the place glowing on the horizon long before you get there. it's so bad. some people get way too into their decorations.

 

Omg, this remined me of something similar I encountered the other day. I was driving & smoking with some friends. We roll through ths development & there is this huge Christmas shrine. It was just as lit up as this house, with a full size nativity scene. THen they had load speakers. The loud speakers with this family singing Christmas carols which they had recorded. It sounded awful. We thought it was hilarious & smoked a bowl right in front of their house. People have way too much time on their hands.
