Four block radius with shattered windows and garage doors buckeled. Just read on friends Facebook post that Kremlin news org says CIA tracked Hellfire missles shot from a drone casued the explosion. WTF! Just googled this report from whadoesitmean.com
I dont know about this report???
Channel News 13 interviewed Citizens gas and they said they had no reports of gas smell before the blast. This is nuts! My first thought ws a errant missle!

not everyone smells natural gas perfume ,, a tanker of the additive tipped over miles away from my home. I could smell it, tho dozens of people I was around didnt even notice it..

Really there are millions of people out there that cant tell the difference from a dead skunk to natural gas.

    the new york post

It wasn't clear what caused the blast about 11 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters responding to a call about a single house fire were surprised by a much bigger blaze. The fire centered on four homes, two that were leveled and two others that only had the frames standing by the time the flames were extinguished, Deputy Chief Kenny Bacon said.
The damage extended two blocks in every direction, he said, and fire officials didn't initially realize the extent of it in the darkness. Mark Lotter, a spokesman for the mayor, said later Sunday that 27 homes were uninhabitable, and eight had significant damage.
Residents described a loud boom that shook their homes, blew out windows and collapsed ceilings. They rushed outside to find a chaotic scene with flames rising against the Indianapolis skyline to the north.

What ever caused it, R.I.P. to those lost and strength to those affected.

Until some facts are known, second guessing and conspiracy thinking isn't helping anyone.

The news just showed an ariel view. Looks like a tornadoe hit.
I thought i heard two houses blew and the rest were secondary damage. One of the deceased houses was a school teacher. So sad. Its been warm this weekend. I cant imagine them using gas heaters. Hopefully find out more tonight on the 10:00 news.

Either A Build Up Of Gas In Underground Ducts, Or At

A Long Shot, A Combination Of Methane And Some Chemicals Somebody

Has Illegally Poured Down The Sewer...:).

Could Also Have Been A Faulty Underground, Very High Voltage Cable

11000 Volts Or Above, That Set Off The Whole Chain Reaction...:).

    Cheers Glen.

I saw that on the news today/tonight. That was bizarre. Everybody described the stuff in their houses shaking, some had windows to implode and one lady described a physical sensation of how she "felt it in her chest". I guess her house was closer than others.

The community seems to really be pulling together and setting up shelters with items people will definitely need such as food, diapers, etc. I can't imagine how horrifying it would be to have that happen, and I'm surprised nobody had a heart attack or similar.

My heart goes out to them.

possible suicide, or intentional. taping the windows, vents and doors shut, calling an answering machine to detonate..

It would have caused a large hole in the ground if it was an underground leak. This was an above ground explosion...

I havnt heard much new news. Cops still have the whole area closed off. The owner of one of the houses that blew was out of town gambling according to the news.
You know about the mysterious hum?
What was that hum? I think it just went away.Stopped hearing about it. lol I thougt it might be a factory machine that was audible when they opened the roof doors at night in the summer.

    Yeap, Build up of gas.
GOOD CALL! Investigators say this is what happened. A brother in law of one of the owners was taken into custody. It was an inside job to blow the house.

Before the Kokomo Hum there was the Taos Hum out of New Mexico, and they still haven’t determined what caused that either.
