Here's the face of the man who would deny United States citizens their weed, after they have voted for their weed...

As you can clearly see, this guy is not a hippie. He has a face that only a mother could love, and even then, only from a distance.

Fuck off, Raymond! We got this! Go make some waffles or something...

Naturally the UN doses not amount to a hill of beans. Mind Its officials can be toyed with for propaganda purposes.

Amsterdam has had legal pot for many years why is he not going after them? It is time for the United States to stand up and tell the Un to fuck off for once and stop kissing their ass.

Dont you guys realize the special relationship the UN has with the US? The UN flag looks a lot like the coat of arms of Israel which we all know the tight knit relationship we have with Israel. What the US wants the UN makes it happen.....very strange since Israel pushes the US into things it wants all the time. I'm not saying there is a connection between Israel and the UN, just stating facts.
Its such bullshit. We aren't free....we are slaves that don't even know they are slaves. Quite Brilliant Actually. The government tells us what we do with are own bodies. It really trips me out sometimes thinking about how alcohol is legal when weed is not. It doesn't make sense that someone can go to a liquor store and drink themselves to death. I can smoke as much weed as I want and still drive in a straight line. There is something else behind all this.....its the only logical answer.
Or the government is profiting of of the illegal sales of marijuana....who really knows.

A lot of great comments guys, good to see all those. Yes Owl I've felt the same way for years, it's just not resonalbe how cannabis is treated vs. alcohol. I feel the drug companies and alcohol manufacturers, their lobbies, are behind most of the prohibition of this safe natural plant.
As for UN..I don't see them representing our people or our best interests. Peace..DD

"At DEA, our mission is to fight drug trafficking in order to make drug abuse the most expensive, unpleasant, risky, and disreputable form of recreation a person could have."
    – Donnie Marshall, Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)

It was Anslinger who set up the UN after leaving the US reefer mad position in the US. He felt in the future some liberal president might try to put competition back on the shelves and this would be another nail in the coffin. My answer is simple...

Shame on the Drug Worrier Profiteers

    Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs

While it is hard to say how the court may rule on this complex issue, there is one area that is rarely, if ever, discussed regarding rescheduling marijuana: international treaties and how they relate to our domestic laws. Two key documents to the discussion are:

    * The Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs – a 1961 international treaty (amended in 1972) that attempted to make the legal controls on a variety of drugs standard among all the signatories. Under this treaty, cannabis is specifically bound by the restrictions of all drugs found in Schedule I, with additional restrictions specific to cannabis also listed.

    * The Controlled Substances Act – a federal law of the United States that was implemented in order to comply with the various international treaties, including the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs and Convention on Psychotropic Substances. The Controlled Substances Act categorizes each controlled substance into five categories, with Schedule I being the most restrictive category. Cannabis was placed in Schedule I in order to comply with the treaty. continued

Methinks Thou Dost Protest Too Much

Was the government to prescribe to us our medicine and diet, our bodies would be in such keeping as our souls are now. Thus in France the emetic was once forbidden as a medicine, and the potato as an article of food. Government is just as fallible, too, when it fixes systems in physics. Galileo was sent to the Inquisition for affirming that the earth was a sphere; the government had declared it to be as flat as a trencher, and Galileo was obliged to abjure his error. ... Reason and experiment have been indulged, and error has fled before them. It is error alone which needs the support of government. Truth can stand by itself.
-- Thomas Jefferson, "Notes on the State of Virginia," 1787

"We are grateful to the Washington Post, the NY Times, Time Magazine, and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings, and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years. It would have been impossible for us to develop OUR PLAN for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a World Government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual ELITE and World Bankers is surely preferable to the national auto - determination practiced in past centuries."

"Marijuana, in its natural form,is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man."
-- DEA Administrative Law Judge Francis Young
    Docket No. 86-22. 1988.

There lies another problem, no side effect medications to sell! After 40 years of searching I can find no logical reason to prohibit Ganja or Hemp so I must therefore conclude we have all entered into a real life "Airplane" movie.

Elaine : The gear is down and we're ready to land.
Kramer : Alright, he's on final now, put out all runway lights except 9er.
Towerguy: Captain, maybe we ought to turn on the search lights now.
MCrosky : No, thats just what they'll be expecting us to do.

...advocating for the removal of alcohol and tobacco from the market, as well. Full blown prohibition should be the law of the land for this high horse riding crusader.

    Oh wait.
