Some have mentioned How I met your mother being the only funny one at the moment. That show irritates me for similar reasons. You always get this bullshit morality from the married couple, Ted is a loser whilst still single, its his fault he's still not with that other chic whatsherface even though she ends up screwing every semi regular male cast member. Get the gay guy to play the manwhore and dump all the bitchy jokes on him, even though NPH is the only funny one on there, and his character the only male thats not a sook.

And its worse with Rules of Engagement

As for Big Bang Theory, its not just drawing from aspbergers, Parsons also draws from his life, despite the way its usually shown in sitcoms, the gay character being the flaming side kick. In real life more of them are like Sheldon, hyper, OCD/ADD and seemingly asexual. I kind of find it bizarre in that sense, the Indian guy is the one that cops all the jokes about his orientation. And yet Sheldon gets Penny by herself, cutes it up and is more interested in her singing Soft Kitty, Sheldon gets a 'girlfriend' takes him a year to hold her hand and yet it never seems to be implied that there may be a reason for that

And there is also the same old thing you were talking about with Wollowitz and Penny, the short unattractive guy is the pervert even though he works for NASA and only is seen to have one, now steady, girlfriend. Whereas Penny has gone through a bunch of guys, but thats still somehow the guys fault?

Yeah her dynamic kind of reminds me of Bridget Jones. Jones as shown in the films is neurotic, insecure, unstable, and yet it is somehow the fault of picky, superficial men that is the reason she can't seem to find a long lasting partner. It's not because she's half a nutcase though. Nuh uh. (Of course by the end, you have men literally fighting over her. Men who all told would have a load of choices in dates.. but yeah, they go all out for this woman. Right.)

Saddo tho' it makes moi,I like the Amy Fairer Fowler character in TBBT.

For me,she's the epitome of a female 'Billy-no-mates',and I actually know a woman just like her character portrayal.....[though I'd never tell her that. I'm brave, not stupid]

My name is Earl. I do quite like that.
Particularly the fella that has a turtle,is married to Earl's ex and used to be a govt agent.

that was a good show. so of course it got canceled after 3 seasons. then the same people went on to make Raising Hope, which is a much more formulaic show, thus is much worse and much more successful.

HIMYM's always on telly when i'm eating dinner. seriously, why did they focus that show on a completely unlikeable character?

Both of those shows are great. I'm also a big fan of archer.

I found so much humor in Breaking Bad for quite a while.. I got kind of turned off in about the 3rd/4th seasons. Just kind of got slow and the drama very annoying.

Big Bang is a one-joke series that is well past its use-by date. 2 1/2 men is the most bilious tripe and Alan in it needs to have a grenade shoved down his whiney throat. 2 Broke Girls is abject puke. How I met your Mother is frustrating to the point of shooting your TV screen. Futurama has become maudlin...I mean a Bender who actually cares? Give me a break.

The only ones that still make me laugh consistently are American Dad and Family Guy. Stewie Griffin is the best cartoon character ever.
