Actually I heard what you said and none of the above descriptions represent my thought process. This is a description of how you have interpreted what I have said. The correct record is in this thread in quotes by thedope.

Thinks he is Kreskin. I am not out to convince others of anything other than there is a better way to achieve the common good or deal with personal outrage than politic and law enforcement. You keep up with this petty defense of your self image when I see far greater in you than you imagine for yourself.

What did I claim? A way to more consistently find your good! I am speaking to you as a man, man to man, knowing that the same mammalian brain chemical course through you as they do through me.

On the one hand you offer nothing but comfort to the dogs, how could you not feel the goodness flow through you in that instance. On the other hand you posit responsibility for cold and reaction to cold on to the dog owner, well, because they are responsible. How could you not feel a sense of deflation upon the news that your neighbor was lacking in enough empathy to care for their dogs, because their minds were otherwise occupied? Is that good news to you?
