ya , i've made alot of these wheels and seen hundreds of people spin . understanding happens pretty quick . can be quirky which is ok . blessings i guess my favorite time to make one is when at camp in de woods and there's some little kids playing about - to get some smooth stones at the river and then most often some kid takes an interest and helps out . hey , kid , we need a couple sticks for a spinner .... and we'll put some color on these rocks , eh ? i think the very best spinner can be played with by the wind , and too , strong enough a dog's tail can whack it silly .
Thanks, tikoo. It definitely provided some relevant answers, I just have yet to figure out exactly what it's saying. Haha. ; )
well , the genius thing thinks it's very possible for anyone to make a Wheel and share your spins here .
I've already chosen my stones...now to construct a spinner . happiness making a wonderous thing :sunny: Maybe I could design a computer version . have a go , let me know .
It would basically just be a randomizing function, which is fairly simple. The tricky part would be making it look and act like its physical counterpart. I was being kinda whimsical, but it would be interesting to try it...
the randomness can be touchable like the hand will spin the spinner ? ?where's the love ... is there a goddess in the computer ? helloooo ? anyway , the graphic could be such a dream mama .
Computer randomizers work by little tricks like picking a string of numbers from the nanoseconds component of the current time, or some such. The same thing is used for computer Tarot readings, and I've found those to be quite satisfactory. Experiments have show that the human mind can influence "random" computer events. So I suppose whatever goddess stops the physical spinning pointer could also select the "random" number needed by the computer oracle. That's an interesting thought of yours though - being able to "touch" the spinner on the computer oracle. Now we're getting into whole complicated physics calculations involving speed, friction, angular momentum...and I threw out my physics books years ago. It never occurred to me that I could use them to design an oracle.
beetuh is a word made from 3 spins of the Wheel . i'll let it be your question , hotpinkhippiemommie . here comes the reply : b ... Togetherness a ... Wild t ... is This d ... Oneness o ... Heart this is about family communication . let it be a jazzy song .
