How do you want the world to end?

If the world ends on Dec 21 how do you want it to happen. I guess it wouldn't really matter. If the world instantaneously ceased to exist nobody would be able to know how it happened.

Hmm.. tricky question.. I think something fun, like the whole world going on a simutainious DMT trip, so really we all think we are walking on rainbows and exploring our creation and existence but the reality to the observers (the aliens watching from their secret base on the moon) is actually a world full of excitable happy people eating eachother alive and driving their cars off cliffs, but all happy and smiling and stuff..then after every last human has destroyed themselves, the aliens shoot the earth with a vapourising gun because it no longer has purpose, make a deal never to speak of what they saw again and humble to their secret all top themselves because it was just too much to deal with watching. So all that is left would be some excess earth rubble and a few dead alien corpses, and a note to the next species who passes by explaining that there was an accident or something.

 

I don't know, maybe all threads about the world ending bore us all to death?

that might be possible, yes. On the other hand the last three or four threads about that topic seem to generate a lot of posts. So there might be an interest in that topic. Or they just help to not to bore people to death .

I think a lot of people use it to bug people or to make them angry. One can't see who has rated the postings and it is hard to find out which postings got rated. It's mostly useless.

if we knew a week beforehand, I wonder how many people would just carry on as normal, not really believing it.. or if we would descend into anarchy.. mass drug, alcohol and sex orgies.. there wouldn't be much stealing as you wouldn't benefit from it within a week..

 

I've used it once.. I reckon most posters just read and comment, they aren't bothered about reputation scores or likes..

usually you find out rather quickly if you like a person (or his or her opinion) or not. Just read a few postings. Not talking to someone because of a low liking count or a low posting count or something like that feels strange to me.

I've just clicked on an icon and it tells me I have reputation of 6.. where can you see other user's reputations? doesn't look visible to me..
