The texture of the first one is just.. Mmmmmmmmm

I may inquire into purchasing some merino wool. Make a few testers.

No point to this thread really... Anyone else fancy wool dreads?

I used wool roving to once make some red dreads for a costume.

They look soft and nice, but don't they smell like wet sheep when they get wet?

    More like Wool is Torture.

But if you shop around (usually local) you can find wool that was shorn ethically.

Also murder because animals are bred specifically for the purpose of human demand and sheep are usually murdered when they are deemed useless.

This is off topic but I'm just saying don't buy wool dreads.

I've made a bunch of wool drewards, does anyone know how to get them a bit textured? Less smooth? Bit more roughed up? :D

just had a thought... if velcro sticks to dreads, an also sticks to wool, can you attach wool dreads with velcro?!
