Nice man, you're bossing the portraits. Proportions have really come on, and shading too.

Try slow down a bit, find a flow - I'd say that's your next step. Also, careful with the eyes! Each eye should take roughly as long as the whole rest of the face took. Tedious, I know, but it pays off. They're the windows to the soul, and really make the picture come to life.

Awesome though dude, keep it up :2thumbsup:

    Go sick ;)

That's why you should try :p

you don't have to stay slow, but you'll pick up on more details and refine the strokes and, generally, just learn new shit.
I prefer working slow and getting details in, but been pushing myself to work faster - nothing special, but it's amazing how much detail you can leave out and get away with.. your mind just fills in the blanks. Much prefer it to be honest, but dunno where it's gonna go!

    Jeremie,
Something else to consider about eyes is their shape. In most cases, you will find that the shape of the eye is closer to the shape of a lemon than it is to that of an almond. That's not always the case, of course, but it's a good rule of thumb to work with. Really take the time to observe the shape of the eye before you draw it. Find out where it swells and where it pinches in.

Nice man! I like the first one the best. I agree that you have your proportions down, it really makes for a nice feel, I'd recommend working on your shading to really make them come to life. I'm not sure if that's just because you are doing a speed draw or this one eye thing.

And I mean it! Good job!
