hi roamy hun:love: i don't know Eire Penn, my home town is Dublin and i've kin buried in nearby Iredell, Texas. All much closer than Penn.
Roamy, I found and Erie for you here. There is a http://www.placenames.com/us/p1209156/ Actually over here, there are quite a few "Erie" Although from one thing that I looked up online, it said, "The county's name comes from Lake Erie, which in turn comes from the Erie tribe of American Indians who lived south and east of the lake before 1654." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erie_County,_New_York I did not know that. An Erie tribe. Lake Erie. Erie, New York. The Erie canal. Erie, Pennsylvania. Of course there is an "Eire Society of Boston" - History www.eiresociety.org/eshistory.html - Cached - Similar Whenever possible the Eire Society offers current books of Irish interest at reduced rates, welcomes American Irish authors (like Cornelius Ryan) to autograph ... It sounds like an interesting time of year to visit Ireland. December. Curious. LOL
almost, mom and dad were in the navry (wwii) and stationed in jacksonville florida as soon as possible we retirned to our home town of dublin texas....
thanks kenny i'll check them out.actually our language goes right back to indian language connections.my island is interesting all year round. ha! ha!thats good the book thing.sounds like half of america has irish name places ha! ha!.figures i guess.
it is said there are more irish in this country than in ireland....i've not heard of a tipperary here
i know, i meet loadsa americans here in my own town all year round mostly tourists.an some more who've settled here..and i don't think i've ever met one without some irish connections. a lot of their ancestors would have arrived there in america in the coffin ships.the ones that were strong an lucky enough ta survive the journey in them.

sjetit cu te se bez brige hello everyone! how you've been? i had some trouble with my internet connection, so i was away. happy greetings:elf: it's snowing here
You missed the snow Fair! Its practically all melted now! Im just chilling, got dark side of the moon on, just back from work. It was really sad today, Mourinho, one of the cats at the shelter was put to sleep, he was basically riddled with cancer and in the past week he had stopped eating and hadnt moved, it was the best, he was in a lot of constant pain. He spent his last moments surrounded by almost all the staff. Gunna miss him. Whats on the agenda in the hippie house?
Humm...The third picture of the dog on the couch makes me think of a Lucian Freud painting...Just the colors and tonalities...More like his early work really.I know it's a photo but when I first saw it that's what I thought it was.
I think I'm having another day off work MamaPeace. So I'll think I'll be pottering about the house cogitating interesting but largely irrelevant philosophical questions...Feel free to interrupt me any time you want to chat.
