Hello, Just wanted to take a second to drop a line for an extremely short introduction, I am 34 :sunnygosh really? time flies!!!) I have a partner in this life here:love:, and we have two children son just turned 6 & daughter nearly 8~ We also have 2 doggies 12 y.o Malamute/Timber wolf mix we love him so~ a 1 y.o Shiba Inu, she's such a sweeetie, an extremely entertaining male black cat & a Scottish Fold (mix?) who's heart is utterly own by our daughter, she does tolerate the rest of us too however, we live in California with talks of moving all the time~ we'd like to homestead somewhere, somehow~ We are starting a compost pile...that's not exactly working out too be honest (suggestions?) We really want to start herb & veggie gardening. We love music and music festivals though our attendance hasn't been what we'd like it to be~ Music's always in our hearts. hello and welcome! there may be an enviro related forum where you could ask about the composting I think you can use a box designed for the purpose rather than a pile
Earth911.com has some info regarding composting. I live in New England & was looking for info about composting in the winter months & this site has some suggestions. Good luck in your search!
