CIBOLEGER (Indonesia) The government offered them electricity and schools, but they refused. The Baduy people prefer to walk barefoot on their traditional lands on Indonesia`s Java island. Progress? Technology? Baduy villager Sapri will have none of it.

 

Still barefootin' outside work! Gonna go grocery shopping this evening, BF as usual despite temps getting into the 30's.

 

Winter is the absolute best time for bare feet! Water puddles, mud, all awesome under my bare soles!

Barefoot even in winter! Although my feet do miss the warm ground.

 

Still truckin'. The pavement is still reasonably warm under my foot.

 

Barefoot in winter is lovely. Especially in the rain and light snow.
