Daddy's Car for a Date??

I plan on asking this girl out on a date, but can't really picture her in my car. Most people our age don't have cars though so she wouldn't exactly be expecting a rolls royce or anything. But still.. my car isn't that cool and like I said.. couldn't really picture her in it.

My Dad however has a regular Mercedes. What if I made an excuse about my car being repaired and brought my Dad's instead. I know a friend of mine who used his Dad's audi for a date once. But on the other hand, would it look bad if she new I was going out of my way for her?

What do you think?

 

Why not save your money, stay at home while your dad takes her out.

Take your own car unless there's a safety issue with it.

Also don't feel bad, in fact the national trend in the USA is that less and less young people have or even want their own cars and are relying more on public transit nowadays. Rising college tuition costs are also influencing why people are cutting back on buying a car. (which you pay luxury tax on annually, but you should know this)

So don't let an issue like this affect your self-esteem. If she's got a problem with it be a man and dump her.

If you can't love your car, and be proud to drive it no matter what anyone thinks, I hope, for her sake, that she's not fooled, either way.

You need to spend some quality time cursing and bleeding and rounding off nuts and leaking various fluids on the driveway. Your relationship with your car is the important one, here.
