I can't be the only one. Two of the greatest sensations and coming from a lesbian! Mind you it's that time of year when I have to reluctantly start donning the winter footwear aka flip-flops when I leave the house...

Yeah winter sucks for going barefoot. I hate the cold. Ready for summer to come. :)

  3. Nah!
Winter can be GREAT for going barefoot! It's only the OPPOSITE of summer---same intensities of experience. Just gotta adjust.
    But---
Never been pregnant. I understand you throw up a lot.....

Yeah the puking sucks but that's a small price to pay and I've been here before as this is this is the third time so I know what to expect. I'm quite broody and earthy not only that I feel quite horny when I've got one in the oven:) Sorry I'm digressing this is after all a barefoot forum. The reason I started this thread was to reclaim the term barefoot and pregnant which historically has negative connotations of the downtrodden housewife without a life tied to the kitchen and that sure as hell aint me! Being a veteran of many Pride marches I know first hand how gays successfully reclaimed the word queer, now the time has come to do the same with barefoot and pregnant...

  5. i fucking adore going barefoot and I fucking adore fucking, esp. oral. FUCKING INTENSE!

Yeah winter's a challenging time for all of us barefooters. At least I'm not due till the end of June so I'll be barefoot and in the advanced stages:) Shit it could be a festival birth, I won't be the first or the last...

  8. Listen...
With barefooting its all good....the walking, the fresh air....it's exercise. HOO HA!
BUT CHILDBIRTH...give me a break...with the puking and the weight gain and mine ankles and the shvitzing and the middle of the night feeding and crying (and this is only MINE HUSBAND....the baby isn't here yet!)

Bare feet is a picnic. The other...t'sa FACTORY! FOOEY!

Look Nuspieds I'm Gonna have to sit you on my lap and give you a stiff talking to!

Like you I love barefooting and good sex but pregnancy's not your bag, fine each to their own. The reason this forum comes under alternative lifestyles is because like it or not, most people confine their barefooting to within their own homes, otherwise this forum wouldn't exist. The sub-heading of this forum is 'the joys and travails of going barefoot' and it's there for us to share our barefoot experiences, good and bad, and also to give moral support and encouragement to those looking at taking their first tentative steps into going barefoot. What it's not there for is to mock one of the most natural and amazing experiences, and having read some of your previous posts I know I'm not the first person you've rubbed up the wrong way. Look I've had a few issues over the last year including a miscarriage and although I'm now coming out the other side I'm still a bit sensitive. OK I played along with your first comment even though it wasnt funny but now you're just pissing me off.

Take this as a friendly warning, otherwise next time I have my head over the bowl with a
bout of morning sickness, I'll send you a sample, hopefully still moist on arrival!

I hope I've made myself clear

Don't get too upset about what someone posts. Consider the source and whether they even deserve a response. Most readers are capable of judging for themselves the worthiness of a response and the maturity (or lack thereof) of a poster. Don't let it get to you.
I can't fathom the physical and emotional toll a miscarriage can have on a woman. The same for pregnancy and the stress it places on the woman's body and the mind. I applaud you for embracing the 'barefoot and pregnant' thing. On any topic there will be those who agree and those who disagree. For the latter, it should be done respectfully.

Grow a sense of humor. It's an old, old joke from the borscht belt comedian.

And don't even blame the fucking hormones. I've been there, too.

Fuck, usually I'm the mediator whenever a hip forums spat arises but now I find myself at the eye of the storm!

Thank you for your messages of sympathy and understanding over my miscarriage, it's good to know there are people who care, as well as your support for my mission to reclaim barefoot and pregnant and show it in a positive light, which was after all the reason I started this thread!

    Onto you now drumminmama

I'd have thought someone who's been there too (presumably you just mean the pregnancy bit) would have some kind of empathy but hey these forums always throw up surprises I ain't gonna into whatever non alcoholic drink I've gotta put up with till the end of June I'm not that precious.

I am human though and like everyone else I know who's been through this pregnancy lark has the occasional off day like I had last week, hormones or no hormones and poor nuspieds copped it big time. If you on the other hand were 100% sweetness and light for the entire 9 months then please let me know what obscure type of happy pills you were taking cos I want some. Now! Gimme gimme gimme!

Seeing as I'm unlikely to get my wish all I can do is promise to stay off these forums next time I'm on edge.

Anyway there are other forums for matters maternal it's not everyone's bag here.

Just another 6 months to go of being barefoot and pregnant and proud, pukey bits and all!

Definitely. Both of my pregnancies took place in the summer time and I was always barefoot.
