Twas the night before Chatmas

I have got no weed for the weekend at all the kid who i usally get it off who lives down the street from me is away at some family thing i dunno

help me out here guys lol i dunno what i should take...

I need a B average or higher in 3 grade 12 courses to get into the university programs i'm interested in... I didn't even get one single B out of all the courses i took during my grad year... So, i'm going to do upgrading in Febuary like i've mentioned.

At first i was thinking of taking English, History, and Geography.. And then go into Bachelor of Arts..

But i still have no clue what i want to do with my life/which career i want... But, what i do know is that i want to run my own business, i've always wanted to do that, to be my own boss of my own company having my own employees. So, i've been considering going to get my Bachelors of Business Administration instead of bachelors of arts..

The issue is... I need a B average or higher in Math 12 to get into that (the university business program itself doesnt have to much math in it, i have a few friends in it that know, the only issue is getting a B in math 12)

So... Instead of upgrading English, History, and Geograhpy... I'd be upgrading English, History, and Math... But, i'm really really bad at math...

I failed math 10 twice.. (the first time i just didnt show up to the exam, the second time i just did horribly) then i failed math 11 once (the first time the teacher just didnt like me and kicked me out of the class, there were no other alternatives, so i auto-failed.. the second time i just did horribly) and then i never even took math 12... So..

And if i don't get a B in math 12 when upgrading.. that means i only have a B average in two grade 12 courses, whereas i need 3.. which would mean i'd miss out on going to university for another semester..

And i don't want to take English, History, Geography, and Math (that way if i dont get a B in math i still have the other 3) because i still want time available to work because i need the money...


That was a very complex long post I'm just kinda wanting other peoples opinions on what i should take/do... Maybe i'll be better at math now that i'm older and more serious about school? In highschool i never tried... I probably only even went to school like 2-3 times a week.. so i missed half the stuff we covered in class.. that could be why.

 

if you want to run your own business, maybe you should look at college instead. look for an entrepreneurial studies course or something.

 

I have inflammatory bowel disease, and while it bothers me in every day life there are sometimes where it turns into a few days-weeks of straight uncontrollable pain and there is not much I can do except go to the ER.. and it always starts with me getting mouth ulcers.. and I'm growing a mouth full of ulcers

I was actually thinking this, because the thousands of dollars i'd spend on school at university, could be thousands i'd save instead of going, that i could then use to invest in a business of mine.

yup. a university business course is good if you're going to try to go work for a big company, or try for a professional designation like CA, CMA, CGA, CFA, etc... but if you're just trying to gain some skills to be able to start up a small business and run it effectively, college is going to give you more hands on experience. you should actually look at continuing education programs offered by your local colleges, you might be able to complete a certificate or diploma program by taking evening classes and keeping your full time job. there are lots of options out there other than full time university or college.
