Westboro Baptist Church planning protest Newtown CT

Now I'm all for freedom of speech. But, no way in hell should those people be allowed in the state of Connecticut ! From what I have read on this site over the last few months since I've been a member I have found that there are a lot of good people on here that want to make a change and do something for others. So I'm looking into making the trip myself out there to help shield the people of that community from those idiots. No way should they have to go through anything of the likes of what those people bring with them. I can't even imagine what they are going through as it is let off seeing someone holding up ma sign saying God hates your dead child.

I live in Illinois and if anyone might be interested in making the trip let me know. These people have showed up in this community a couple different times to " protest " a soldiers funeral here and I went to help shield the parents from them. But this is just way off line ! I don't think I could live with myself if I didn't go and do my part here.

The stories on WBC are a month old.

 

I personally believe that the Westboro Baptist Church is nothing more than a scam for attention and money. Their ideas of things are just too far out and disgusting to be real by any real human being.

 

I don't really understand why WBC is going to protest there anyway?

 

WBC is a cult, just like any other religion, with the exception that they tend to be a wee bit fanatical about it.
