What do you order at DQ?

This is a tribute, sort of, to KR.

I use to be an M&M blizzard kind of gal. Now, I usually order a cherry dipped cone. I also like something, but I don't remember what it's called. It's fudge covered ice cream with peanuts on a stick.

now i dont go often...but on the rare occasion i do i get a skor blizzard or small cone

One recently opened not far from me, though I haven't been there. I have heard their chicken fingers are "really good." If I was the fat boy I was a year ago, I would have totally pigged out on some DQ by now. Now I can't bring myself near a fast food joint.

What is good on their menu?

I don't eat at DQ.. their stuff is so sweet it makes my teeth hurt.. but if someone else is buying I get one of those blue slushy things, I can't remember what they're called!

 

Dilly Bars forever. KR is crushworthy.

I'm not a fan of dairy queen and I have no clue what KR is. In my mind I guess I equate cigarettes and fast food to be kind of in the same category, an unnecessary but completely addictive and sometimes tasty vice.

 

I don't really have any fast food vices.. the only things that I really crave are either a hamburger from mcdonalds or hash browns from waffle house but only because I get them with extra onions, I get onion cravings and those are my vessel heh

 

See I've never thought to myself, "I could really go for a big mac right now" or something similar.

 

pretty much I just get a craving for fast food onions. Never like onion rings or a blooming onion or anything like that.. just like 'fuck i want something cheap with onions on it'

 

Ever thought about buying.......an onion?

I love DQ...usually i get the Flame Thrower Burger combo and a large Strawberry Sunday

 

lol yes.. I eat onions almost every day but sometimes I just want them the way they prepare them at a restaurant. They never come out cooked just 'that way' when I do it. But yes, we keep bags of onions here.. in fact I ate two yesterday and one already today :sunny:

 

Try NOT cooking them. As that is the secret to how they are prepared.

 

DQ = Dairy Queen. They used to only sell ice cream but from the posts above I gather they now sell other foods as well. I have not been to one in many years.
