I'm gonna say no to flashbacks, but honestly if you stare at things long enough, your eyes mess with you. Something I noticed before ever taking any drug at all, as a kid. There's retinal impressions that your eye remembers from moments before. Life is trippy, not just psychedelics.
You could have HPPD. Which I recently discovered is what many people consider flashbacks to be. However yes, I agree with babyjay, things will move if you stare at them for long enough anyway.
If you stare at a screen in low light you can get funky colours fading slowly around the outside too. Blues, purples, greens - good fun. A series of horizontal lines also strobe for me occasionally, but that's on and off and depends on how close they are to each other.
This is debated, and my opinion the answer is no. It's more like being able to see in another perspective. Think about it, have you ever worked on a drawing or painting for a long time. Before everything is together it may look disproportional, out of shape, looking at the finished project only you will be able to see what you experienced from the progress. Your mind can now imagine the world vibrating. If you focus on anything you will see it again. I used to watch movies finding deep psychedelic connections. I could watch a waves of an ocean ripple with the sky, or so I made myself. It's just a connection you can only make with the experience. Flashbacks make no biological sense IMO other than being able to put an experience or memory in with another present moment. Which is much different
I once had a flashback three days after my shroom trip. It began with wavy visuals and climaxed in a raised heart rhythm shortly after that. It scared the crap out of me but never had one again.
