If I ever had the chance (?) to have sex with a virgin again, I wouldn't have intercourse with her imediately - would let her experience being seduced in stages - undressing her slowly & letting her enjoy the feeling of being touched / licked in different places all over first & let her perform the same on me if she was feeling aroused more.
Rushing things sexually is not always the most enjoyable at times for some if it's their sexual experience & they should feel good about it & not as if they are being forced into something they will rather not want to remember for the rest of their lives.

It's your choice but if you feel a need to you can always ask God for forgiveness and start anew after some STD/STI checks. It might help you if you believe.

Starting anew might help you get over any residual trauma from your first teen years.

It's not a first-date question, that's for sure. Once you're officially together though I think it's appropriate to ask those types of questions like who they've been with or whatever.

I would think that someone who valued saving it for marriage would be interested in learning many, many other things before virginity came to the top of the list.

I would imagine that the first (and second and third ....) dates would be spent learning whether she was a gossip, what kind of music she liked, how she treats waiters, what kind of person she is, what kind of life she wants to have. After one knows enough to move her into the "potential wife" status, then would be the time to inquire about personal things like debt, hereditary diseases, and virginity.

If you ask on the first date, you risk losing a good woman who values her privacy. The only kind of woman who would put up with that question would be a liar (undesirable) or one who valued privacy very little.

(In which case, you should be prepared (if marriage occurs) to have every detail of your life; your salary, your vacation schedule, your illnesses, all your private conversations, your debt, your health, your opinion of your boss, your opinion of your father-in-law, EVERYTHING told, by her, to her mother.)

 

You are making the mistake of associating those who care about virginity always being moral/religious types.

The kind of people that don't care one bit about a girl being long-term desirable or potential wife material are the guys that just want the novelty of "deflowering" a bunch of girls for a good time and the lolz.

I never got checked because we were only with each other, but I did find out years later that I have cervical dysplasia and HPV scarring specifically from him, there isn't anywhere else I could have got it.. but I guess that was just a stupid kid of me for not checking.

If you need to know on a first date if a girl is a virgin, I suggest you refrain from dating until you are a grown up.
