So, I'm getting the Internet again today. I have two neighbors who have unsecured Internet, and I actually get a pretty decent connection. I also have Internet on my phone. After my six month promotional period is up, I'm going to rid of my conscious that's telling me it's bad to steal the Internet from my poor neighbors, and just use their connection anyways. That is all.
If I stole the neighbors internet they'd certainly know someone was on it, I play too many video games bwaha. Our internet at my moms house is unsecured because my dad is an idiot, people steal it all the time. Someone even manager to ghetto rid their modem to it and get our internet on their modem. Had to call comcast to boot them off
We had a deal with our neighbor and would actually give them a little money. They moved though, and we just got our own.
Then I either connect to the other neighbor's Internet or just use my phone, which I mainly use anyhow.
My nazi isp threatened to shut off my internet which I intentionally let open because one of the neighbors downloaded twilight. it's not a good system, but they are the only in town, so I gave in. Anyway, I firmly believe in leaving wi fi open. It's neighborly. Like borrowing a cup of sugar from the neighbors.
I like being a grouchy neighbor; Mine's password protected. However, the Internet guy just installed it that way. I often forget passwords, so I don't really care if it's protected or not.
Not only am I a grouchy neighbour with closed wi-fi but I hide my network too. I can't afford the bandwidth I'm already using.
Because there's a sucker born every minute My internet connection at work is free and my sierra wireless adapter from sprint (which is also paid for by my employer) plugs into my home computer. Hotwater
