Will the world end?

So, tomorrow is Dec 21, 2012. Will the world end tomorrow? Well, wait a minute, its already Dec 21, 2012 in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. Are you people alive? lol....Any preparations for tomorrow? Just discuss ! :dupe:

 

I've heard from a reliable source that the worlds of the people who believe in the end will indeed end because they will all spontaneously combust tomorrow afternoon.

 

Lol, OMG, I don't believe in the world ending tomorrow, so I will not combust tomorrow afternoon. Right !!!

 

No, the world is not going to end. However, I think some people will take the opportunity to do some really bad things.

 

I personally don't see the world ending tomorrow. However I saw something online on National Geographic of people stocking up on 4 years worth of dried food in pantrys and people who have made hidden underground shelters.. so maybe they know something we don't.

 

I also agree with PhotoDude, I am really hoping we won't be seeing stories of looting and mass suicides on the news the next day.

 

Yeah, agreed. But what kind of bad things do you think people are going to do?

 

Mass shootings I fear. Schools, malls, business offices, public parks, concerts. I really hope not, but I get the feeling someone or someones are going to go on a killing spree somewhere.

 

Unfortunately people these days don't need a reason like the end of the world to go on a killing spree. Look at what happened at the elementary school in Connecticut. And there's a bomb/shooting threat at my high school tomorrow. Look around, the end of the world started a long time ago.

 

U.S. is not the world.

 

Does unnecessary violence and killing only happen in the U.S.? There's an extremely high amount of bombing and killing always happening all around the world as well.

 

The end of the world is good for business, that's why this nonsense has been circulating for so long. Buy now, while you still can! End of the world 'sale'! Fear mongering works, as we see in almost every major media outlet.
