Sneaking weed to Canada and back

Is it worth the risk to bring a couple of grams over the Canadian border and back?

What are the chances of being searched randomly?
Dogs?
Good ways to hide it? It is currently airtight and hidden in a sock at the bottom of a suitcase

 

Depends on your mode of travel. And what do you mean by airtight?

Depending on where you are traveling you may be better off just buying weed upon arrival.

 

going into canada is probably less risky than coming back. i especially don't see any reason to smuggle it both ways; just bring enough for the time you're there and make sure it's all gone for the trip back.

safest is obviously just buying some when you're there, but that's not necessarily easy.

I got in trouble one time and a cop found 2 grams and a pipe of bud in my car after pullover. Those 2 grams costed me $2,800 and a fun arrest on a shitty bed in jail. Most expensive weed ever.

If they found that me trying to sneak into another country..fuck that.

If their is a line of cars waiting to go through and you do get searched and their is dogs, it can be in a sock within a sock within a sock...the dog will find it, they always do.

Not trying to play devils advocate here but getting busted fucking sucks and all it takes is one time...

 

Not worth it in my opinion; should be able to score at your destination if you want. I'm usually a huge proponent of people traveling with a personal amount but international borders is where I draw the line...

If you do, I wouldn't bring any dirty glass with you.

it also depends who you are traveling with. A family can be different than a bunch of young friends having fun. Although my buddy got busted with an 1/8th in the airport flying back tot he US from canada with his folks.

 

Why would you even consider bringing a controlled substance through an international border. Thats just fucking stupid.

 

Just have it handy so if they do pull you aside you can swallow it if you want to take some with. In your sock in your bag is trouble you cant deny.

Smuggling anything to anyplace is stupid. The rest of your life will become hell. Not only do you screw yourself for employment opportunities, I know several people with felonies from over 10 years ago that can't even rent a half-decent apartment over possession convictions. It is not worth it at all, and anyone that tries to convince you that it is is full of it. Don't even travel with anyone that may have that same thought.

Well where are you going in Canada? If you're coming to BC then don't bother, you'll be able to find weed no problem... But if you're going to say.. Saskatchewan? Lol (i'm just assuming they have little weed there...) then you probably wont have much luck apon arrival..

I've been to the states and back many many times.. living about 10 minutes from the boarder... We have never once been stopped for anything... Hell i might have even had some weed in my backpack that i just simply forgot to take out, not even thinking anything of it, i usually always have some in there..


But again, maybe it's different where you're going... I live right near the boarder and almost everyone here just goes back and forth for shopping all the time... All you do here is pull up, show your pass port, they ask where you're going and for how long, you can tell them anything, then you just continue on... I'm unsure if its like that everywhere though..

 

Pre 9/11 I was able to easy as, and most likely still good I think the way I did it was awsome lol

 

My cousin was crossing the border one time from Canada and all he had was a high times magazine on him and they searched his whole car and pockets and they took the magazine away from him. I wouldn’t risk it. I rather be safe than sorry. This sounds like it seemed like a good idea at the time kind of thing
