Hi Everyone. I haven't posted anything here in a long time, so I thought I'd show this. It's a Christmas ornament I made from scrap metal. It started with the nubs of some one inch square tubing that I welded into the form of a mini turbine. I then drilled and tapped both ends of it and screwed a grease fitting into the bottom and a broken tube connector into the top of it. The tube connector has a piece of heavy copper wire soldered into it. That wire was then drilled so it could accept a hook for hanging it on the tree. It's a bit heavy, but a sturdy limb supports it quite well. I wish I would have made more of these.
