Jah-nuary Gathering

Hey people far (out) and wide!

Thought I better post about a gathering that is being planned at the moment by the brains of none other that Jaz Delorean..

The gathering will take place somewhere south of Manchester and will be sometime in January as far as I know...

Jaz man! get your Bee-hind in here and tell all the people!

yeah i was having ideas after speaking to Kev (dharmamillo) about Alderley Edge near Manchester, it seems a wonderful place to have a gathering, so i think we should!
errr yeah... more soon...

 

I like the sound is. Given that it is preddy close to me, the probability that I will be able to attend is a lot higher. Especially if it is spread over a couple of days. Watch this space.

any ideas of the date yet? andy offered at the last gathering to arrive a bit earlier to set up camp and do amazing things with tarpaulins and lanterns but an idea of when it is may be handy.

also, is it easier to find than the derby one and will buses/caravans have more success getting in and out of it? i have just had to invest in some snow chains following an incident in a field in bath this weekend but andys bus sinks really easily!

starfly - are charlie and samuel coming to this one?

hmmm doubtful on my end im afraid-work commitments and its my 20th on the 24th so ill be spending that with mate in edin and hopefully seeing my horses back home too. also still general avoidence of difficult situations. all in all tis best if i don't show my face there. sorry guys!

i have 2 djembes i can bring...if i work out where i live and where it is and how far that is from me and how to get there :S

Oh yeah and Jaz man, if i had the furthur bus I would pick each person up from their city/town centre wearing a "kiss the hippy" T-shirt and with Pink Floyd blurting out of the speakers ide have on the roof....ooooh I I had that bus...

Anyway, people coming, bring frinds, and get them to bring their friends, and their friends pets as well!
And all bring guitars, drums, tambourines, anything that makes a nice sound!!

oh and as for dates......i guess its up to Jaz, dude pick a weekend, and i can get there earliest as the thursday before the weekend as i only have college for 2 hours thursdays....if anyone else plans on getting their early thats fine, maybe there aint any need to get their early?? i dunno

lets just say its a saturday for now, and let Jaz almighty pick a date.

well, my birthday is on the 2nd of feb, so we could have a mighty psychadelic mini fest in the forest around then

 

Tis a shame there isn't any gathering this week as I'm fully free this week. p

The times convenient for me are: all day Tuesday, Sunday and Thursday, and Saturday evenings.

 

I really want to come but i live so south ... but if i do come i'll bring my Didge and poi fire and all.
