Wait for somebody to say the Bill is just a UN stooge who is paying for vaccines to murder/depopulate Africa. GENOCIDE. I mean seriously like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fI1DRGcSets"]Bill Gates, " Vaccinate to Depopulate": His Logic Explained - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQXvekHejLc"]Bill Gates wants to depopulate using Vaccines - YouTube http://www.gavialliance.org/forum/
lol those ppl are crazy seriously..... And honestly if we really wanted to murder/depopulate Africa just give them more guns and let them kills themselves off. I mean with all the cartels/gangs/ etc running around. Besides guns would also be a lot cheaper too...... Then there is the aids thing..... Why put research into it? if we just ignore it would kill off a lot of Africa as well. Am I right? Another point would be to stop sending food over there as well just let them starve to death as well while we are at it. But ya... ya Bill Gates just a big puppet........ the conspiracy
Yet Gates remains a multi billionaire worth more than 250 times what John Schnatter is worth, and have you taken a look at his house or the rare woods used in the construction? And all that wealth created by a fucked up OS you can't purchase but can only acquire a license to use. But if not Gates, than how about George Soros, worth more than $20 billion? And are you claiming that John Schnatter donates nothing at all to charity? I'm not saying that he does, but I can't say that he doesn't either, which seems to be what complainers are trying to claim.
GoofyGooberz Well, more guns equals less crime - especially in heavily populated cities. Apart that one, when you are right, you are damn straight.
A bit bitter on the Windows OS eah...... Ok well George Soros may not give as much hell he helped hungary in it's transition from Communism to Capitalism..... that's a pretty good feat for his country. I guess it's Papa John's arrogant attitude which rubs people the wrong way when this was topic started. Like his world was going to end b/c of this healthcare and how he will suffer up in his mansion unless he raises his pizza that dollar more and the working family who are struggling alread. Thanks Mate :2thumbsup:
Can you point to where he acted like his world was going to end? I believe he merely told his board members that he would need to increase the price of his pizzas by 13 cents. Perhaps it is less john schnatter who rubbed you the wrong way, and more your own political bias.
Don't use Windows myself, but have to fix computers for many people who do, and it's a pain in the ass as I can't choose the menu language to one I can read, and the owner usually can't tell me what the error messages are saying in a language I can understand. Most of those owners are Europeans and I don't speak Swedish, German, French, etc. Not quite on topic, but the fact being Gates has gotten rich selling what I consider to be trash, and charging for fixes which perpetuate the problem. If anyone should be giving back something,it is him and his employees, in my opinion, and considering just how many persons who have become wealthy selling their products. So, you're pro-Capitalism? Anti-Communism? Oh, I nearly forgot, I believe Soros helped the Bank of England also didn't he? I don't see anything he's said or done as being arrogant. When costs increase, prices usually increase as well. And it's not just pizzas that are going to become more expensive. Essentially you seem to be angry that he openly stated the reason for raising the price of his pizzas. The nerve of him to say anything, he should have kept his mouth shut and just increased the prices.
I'm not angry about it it's your country that openly admits it doesn't want to help it's own people. Because while yes the upfront ground work to get something like this in motion will cost right now...... but it's all about "me" over there right now and not thinking about how it just might help your country and it's people or even your own family in the long run. I damn proud to have 2 countries to call home where they have a public health system in place.

But the reality of it is that it is not "all about me" at all in the U.S., but more so about unfunded and unfundable liabilities that have been created and expanded beyond reason. PEOPLE, will and do help other people, and that costs much less than multiple government agencies at the Federal, State, and local levels following a one size fits all set of rules in providing not only assistance to those in need, but also paying wages, benefits and pensions to those government workers who only make the costs much greater than it need be. In the long run, debt can cause much greater harm than the immediate help it was thought to have provided, especially when it's debt carried over from previous generations and left unpaid. Perhaps you should more openly advertise the benefits of moving to one of the two countries you're so proud of, in lieu of going to the U.S. Our losses could be your gains.

Like the school shooting of recent what the answers to that I hear...and I'm just saying what I hear. - Teachers are arming up out there now........ scary to know really. And considering there were ppl armed at the Combine shooting and it did help, so what is the point to that? - They are blaming it on the fact the God is no longer in school........I won't even touch that one. -Then there are blaming the mental health system saying if there was something in place he could have had help....... Who know really And as far as debt getting bigger please every gov't of every generation leaves some type of debt behind. At least this one might help you guys out. But I'll chill back and let you ppl fight it out amongest yourselves. I just am trying to understand you but just can't. And I just hear excuses as to why you don't want to help but no solutions...... so that everybody can be healthly no matter how much $$ they have
Isn't government supposed to provide the solutions to all of our problems? After all, only government can steal from, oops, tax the rich and give to the poor.
maybe this will help you understand goober. the right side of america goes by this old saying. “Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a lion or gazelle - when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.” while the left side of america says "put up a fence between the Lion and the Gazelle and feed them all equal amounts of wheat and grains."
If net worth was taxed appropriately, there would be no national debt. Wealth has rigged the current economic system so they don't have to pay their fair share; they divide humans into producers and parasites.
Wasn't the question previously asked "How would you go about taxing wealth?" And by 'taxed appropriately', I presume you mean 'taxed enough to pay your and others bills?'. You seem to have a somewhat convoluted definition of what a fair share is. If you create something of value to others and sell it, what is my fair share of the earnings produced by the efforts you put forth? Parasite: 1. An organism that lives in or on another organism (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the host's expense. 2. derogatory. A person who habitually relies on or exploits others and gives nothing in return. You employed the term parasite, and the definition above is the top result from a quick google, which I would like to know how you might apply it, say in relation to Bill Gates, George Soros, an average middle class working taxpayer, and a lifetime welfare recipient?
^ In the words of ex-financial regulator, William Black: [source] (Before you accuse me of going off-topic, remember, you asked the question).

And that was only one of several questions asked.
