Anyone familiar with this? It's one of those creepy unsolved mysteries. Nine hikers met their death in the Ural mountains in what some say was a bizarre way.
Wow, I had never heard of this. Quite the intriguing story. Something was obviously covered up what with all the missing documents.
Yes, they left the tent barefoot. I'm pretty certain it was aliens or interdimensional entities. According to the families there were orange tans on the bodies. It's one of the crazier cases.
Some attribute the condition of being barefoot to paradoxical undressing. The article also mentions terminal burrowing behavior. http://www.weirduniverse.net/blog/permalink/paradoxical_undressing/
Oh I definitely believe that could be a factor in this case. But I lean more to them fleeing the camp. The tent was "torn open from inside", they probably were getting out of dodge in a real hurry. And the radiation is weird. Could radiation exposure lead to undressing like before a person freezes?
The missing tongue of the person could be explained by wildlife eating the soft tissue. Wildlife are known to eat the tongue and other parts of dead cattle (the so called cattle mutilations that some say are due to UFOs).
Still that radiation is anomalous. I still can't get past it. And the supposed condition of the bodies.
Some of it has been "explained." The wick used in the lanterns I think was the radiation source. The skin browning from sun exposure. Not all details explained- but not all details can be confirmed either.
The fractures of the ribs and skull that were seen in a couple of the people are perplexing. It is something that would be caused by high impact, such as falling off a cliff. It's difficult to imagine a person or animal inflicting such injuries onto a person.
