Because February 23rd I'm flying to California to go apprentice to grow pot. This is my dream. People have asked me what I plan to do in the future as a career and I would tell them I wanted to be a pot farmer. People almost always told me that I needed a more realistic goal but I held on to the hope of pot farming while working low paying mediocre jobs to keep alive. This is the most awesome thing that has ever happened to me. I can't wait to go, but I have to. Well fellow hipsters, your thoughts?
My whole question to this matter of pot farms is that your money is out there for anybody to help themselves to. I mean it isn't like a corn field where you loose a couple of dollars if they steal a couple of ears. So do you have armed security to protect your investment or what? What stops somebody from robbing the place and taking everything?
Enjoy it while you can because in a few years farming pot will be on par with farming corn. Your not going to be able to make the type of profits the black market creates. Make a living? Maybe. I know right now you grow it up north and make a few hour drive to LA and a pound is worth a grand more then it is up north. That type of thing will end once other states go the way of Colorado and Washington.
how did you get such a great opportunity? i would love to do something like that! ): plant care and growth is my calling in life, doing it with pot would be happymaking and lucrative
Good luck, hope it works out although it sounds fairly risky to me. I would love to grow stuff outside or in a greenhouse as well. A great way to make money unless you get a visit of some criminals who see you as a competitor or of course the police. A good location is key I guess, that and experience.
