weirdest moment you've ever had?

me and my boy just kissed, and we both farted.

I once smoked weed and didnt eat junk food. I guess that was pretty odd.

 

When a family aunt died at 2am and communicated with me when i was at work, and my mom who was woken up during the same hour. All three of us were in different states and if you look at our locations on a map and connect the dots its almost a strait line.

 

Odd perhaps but not really the most weird I bet

 

I and some friends met a couple girls in Seattle (1967)and were told there would be a party after they got off work. We should come. They worked in a little 2 story building in a residential area making sandwiches for those trucks that show up at construction sites. So,we show up and the bosses(2 brothers about 25 or so) tell us we can wait in their apartment upstairs from where the girls were working until they got off. We had smoked up before we got there ,so what happened was more weird than if we had been straight.

The three of us get upstairs and were told to sit down on a couch and the guys stepped out of the room for a minute. They came back and some music started up and they started to do this little coordinated dance routine while lip-synching to the song! I think it was an Elvis song(been a long time)---and we were frozen with --what--astonishment,I guess. We didn't even know those guys and couldn't believe what was happeneing!! We finally got out of there --no party for us!!

Kind of reminds me of the lip-synching in Blue Velvet. (way before it came out ,tho.)

I wish there were more posts on this thread it could be mad interesting. My weirdest moment in my life so far was probably tripping with a gangster who hadnt known what he was getting himself into

 

A strange moment: that moment when you and your boy are fucking in the moonlight at a festival in the woods, and all of a sudden, between moans you can hear someone walk closer, stop when they notice, and continue back the way they came (after watching for a few minutes)

 

had that happen before, but it was a game warden.. beaver was in tho..:mickey:

 

1993. July 4th weekend. I am driving a truck from Chicago to Milwaukee. The weather is oppressively hot. Thunderstorms begin to develop. by the time I get to the Waukegan Toll Plaza it is raining sideways with strong winds. people are paying their toll and pulling over to the shoulder. As I stopped at the booth a voice which I understood to be God told me to put on my seatbelt,, which was odd as I considered myself an Athiest, yet intuitively I knew it was God. Reflexively I put it on, which I never wore. I pulled out of the booth and a half mile down the road I hit a sheet of water on the road, spun around, hit the ditch and rolled the vehicle I was in. Had I not been wearing a seatbelt I would have been killed.

August 28th 1993. I was getting married to a woman I did not love or really even like. We got married in a big, old Catholic Church. Right before the Mass the Priest asked if I was ok. Then I left my body and floated to the top of the church and could look down upon everyone. it lasted a moment and then I was back in my body.

Shortly after we moved into our house in 2001 I began to hear a young girl crying at night. My daughter was an infant and the cry was of a 5 or 6 year old girl. I used to get up and check on my daughter and wander the house. one night I returned to bed and my wife was awake. she said "you heard her didn't you?". Shortly thereafter my wife asked the neighbor lady about our house. she said a farmhouse used to be on the property and that the owners had a daughter die as a child. I continued to hear the girl crying for another year. In the fall of 2002 my favorite Aunt, Lois was dying of cancer. On November 8th my wife was on the phone talking to a friend by the window. the windows were closed as it was November in Upstate NY. My wife said all of a sudden the curtains blew straight out like a gust of wind had come out of nowhere. my wife told her friend "I have to go, Lois just died". No sooner had she said those words that the phone rang. it was my cousin telling us that Lois had died. from that day onward we never heard the little girl crying again. My wife believes that Lois' spirit moved through our house and took the little girl's spirit with her.

 

Back in the 80s, I was a paramedic in North Texas. I have picked up"God", "Jesus", "Satan", etc, etc, numerous times and taken them in for a mental evaluation. I did EMS for almost 20 years and "weird" was normal to me....however,

Got a call on a pysch patient one time, private residence. Arrived on the scene and a lady met us outside and told me, "my son is 10 years old, he is possessed by a demon and the priest just left, I want him taken to the hospital". We walked into the living room and there was a 10 year old boy, standing in the corner on the top of the back of their couch, talking in a voice that should not come out of a little boy.

He was not combative so it was scoop and run because this kids freaked us out, and we didn't freak out easily. I wanted him out of the back of my ambulance.

Nothing else happened but I'll remember that call forever.

 

interesting. on that line of stories:
once, my friends and i were smoking on the second floor of my friends house. no one was home other than the five of us, and we were all upstairs. this house had a history of supposedly being haunted, but i never gave a fuck.
my friends and i finished smoking, and i was in the front, leading them down the stairs. i saw a strange cloudy black figure walk across the door frame, and i whipped around and stopped my friend "did you see that?!" and i guess later that day, something strange happened in the basement.

i seriously remember the adrenaline from seeing that figure, knowing it wasn't one of us. freaky.

 

when my best friend and I were younger we both started singing sweet emotion by aerosmith at the same time....except we both sang "sweeeeet biiill coooosssbyy" instead of "emotion." There was no reason for us to do this. We weren't talking about bill cosby, we weren't watching his show, we weren't even eating jello. I dunno how we both thought of him, and that damn aerosmith song, at the same time.

 

i love that! when two people have similar mindsets

 

One of my experiences of sleep paralysis stands out for me. I was living in a small apartment with my partner. It was one of those "railroad" apartments where all the rooms were in a straight line. You came into the kitchen, then dining space, living room, then bedroom. We were sleeping when I woke hearing someone coming into the kitchen. The person walked with heavy feet and you could almost feel the floor shake. The being walked through all of the rooms and walked into the bedroom, around the bed and then out through the wall. The being was a tall cowboy from the past with a cowboy hat and layers of clothing. I was sure that I was wide awake but I could not move. Scared the shit out of me.

 

I know I posted this somewhere around here before, but anyway..

I woke up one morning and sat up at the edge of my bed feeling strange. I felt as if I was backwards like on the other side of a mirror or something.

I even checked myself to see if I was still right handed because the feeling was so intense.

It took me like hours, or maybe even days to get over that. It was a long time ago, but I still remember it. And it wasn't because of drugs, a hangover, or anything like that either.

I just saw some kid puke BIG TIME outside of a 'fancy' Italian restaurant at 6 pm on a Sunday.
