This is what I was referring to in the OP. But somehow no one seems to be able to nail down why they feel this way. Bieber just seems to have that 'something'.

Yes, Bieber sucks. Yes he has no talent. But he is JUST ENTERTAINMENT. Just as shit as Rihanna, Chris Brown, Katy Perry and any other 'entertainer' out there. As YOU mentioned he is a fabrication of the entertainment industry, so therefore he really is harmless is he not? He's just a little pawn in someone else's money making game, he's not hurting you, get over it.

Comments on here about wanting to hurt/kill Bieber and/or his manager really say more about the people posting this stuff than Bieber. I find musical snobbery hilarious. Music isn't going to feed the hungry, it's not going to cure diseases, it's not going to stop natural disasters. Therefore, don't some of you need to find more important things to get angry about???

 

Uh, because not everyone shares the same taste as you. I think she is super beautiful.

 

I suggest a new use for Justin Bieber. Make him the gold standard test for anger management classes. When you've gone through enough anger management rehab that you can walk into a room with Bieber on the boob tube and not get angry in the least, you will have completed the rehab with commendations.

I don't like Justin Bieber's music, his stuff is probably aimed at the younger (mostly female) population anyways. People like him, so what....Good for him, he's making a lot of money.
Also, I really dislike the Beatles as well. Their music is kind of annoying, I never saw what's their appeal.

 

I don't actually want to hurt him. He (and others) just has one of those types of faces I can't stand. Smug. I wouldn't actually hurt him given the chances, though. It's not serious. I think I did say I bet he's actually a nice kid.

I just don't listen to him. Actually, for a long time I didn't know who he was, because the radio stations I listen to don't play current pop.

I don't get why people have to actively hate him.

It's obviously best to ignore this garbage in the end (because in the end it's true, he's just some kind of entertainment) when you dislike it. It's easy enough to do most of the time. But when there's a topic on hipforums it's righteous enough as well to let our opinions (or hate) flow Yes, yes, just felt like stating the obvious.

 

I like how he had a reality show, and how he pretty much failed at raising his children normally.

edit: although it is the same with Ozzy in essence (just entertainment), I kinda wished he never did a reality show. But yes, selling out and/or whoring for media attention seems to come kind of natural to the majority of famous people. Happily with Ozzy you can just blame everything on his drug induced dementia (same reason he gave up writing a biography haha)

 

I read this magazine about Paul's supposed death when I was a kid. I don't believe he's dead. My wife and I saw him concert several years ago and I'm almost positive he was the real deal!
