I prefer CRT televisions as CRTs are MUCH BETTER and produce a MUCH NICER picture and sound (Always have) I prefer VHS as the content is MUCH NICER (Analogue opposed to digital) I PREFER ANALOGUE CONTENT IN GENERAL OVER ANYTHING DIGITAL (If i can get it) as the experience is MUCH NICER Lets hear some facts of you guys
I like cassette tapes.Always have.I have a large collection but no cassette player to play them on...Have to rectify that.Just love cassettes. They're so cute. They remind me of little books in terms of their physical dimensions.I don't like i-tunes or downloading music from the internet and don't think I will ever bother...Love Youtube though,it's great, like the ultimate jukebox.
I look at my post number sometimes and realize that I did some great posts and some meaningless toss. Sometimes I want to sort through them and put together a thread of my greatest hits. I know it's a little egotistical but don't really care. C/S, Rev J
I recently replaced my circa 1980s tv (the kind that is built into a cabinet and sits on the floor) with a flat screen. I miss the old tv. I miss it a lot.
I used to miss tapes (audio and VHS) - I kept a lot from 'back in the day'. Then I played one or two and they were all warped and sounded/looked terrible. I much prefer digital. Audio does sound warmer and nicer in analogue - but it's just too fragile' imho. I tell people my TV is 38inch even though it's 32 - size matters.
I think I'm hilarious, but not many people agree. I also recently discovered a fiery passion for canoeing! ain't nothing like being on the water on a crystal clear day
I just took up skateboarding again after 20 years. When I say took it back up again I mean doing tricks and stuff too. C/S, Rev J
Ditto, although I have had a vinyl collection for years, I agree with the fuck everything else. No better sound than a scratchy record!
I love waterparks, they are building one in Sydney thats going to be the biggest one in the world or something, its what I'm most excited about this year
I collect things. Video games, mostly - everything from Atari 2600 to XBOX 360 and everything in between. I have a shitload of vinyl records, mostly thrift store finds and I honestly don't like about a third of them. I've also recently started collecting guitars. I have five at the moment, three acoustic, two electric, and one acoustic bass. So six if you count a bass as a guitar, which it technically is, I guess.
In the VHS era i remember staying up all night to tape a music video of whichever band i love. 'Rage' which was our version of MTV usually didnt have metal on till like 3am, nowadays its all there on youtube. So I dont miss that part
My knees are fucked, after two decades of clubbing and mosh pits The rest of the body is fine, but i know i'm only one big twist away from reconstructive surgery, not that i was ever into skateboarding, but with surfing nowadays, its never in anything to big for thay reason.
