It's much better that the armed forces are loyal to the civillian leadership, or this would be a military dictatorship, similar to the south american experience wherein, if someone in the government tries to actually govern, the military removes them and installs a new puppet. Their job is to follow any order, short of war crime, that they are given. It's not their fault if it's a bad order, it's only their fault if they do criminal things. Some obviously do, at all levels, just like civillians do. I know you're an obvious troll and all, but what the hell....

i guess soldiers just follow orders and leave politics to the politician, so we shouldn't really blame them if they go to war or not at the end it's our politician who decides if we want to go to war or not!
I hate certain troops. Some guys are just plain stupid, who sign up to the military thinking it's something cool and come back with ptsd. Everyone should know the history of the military before enlisting, but not a lot of people do. So when they go out and expirience war, they find themselves in a whole different world. I know all the crazy crap that the U.S. military has done through out the years and even then Im still interested in it. Not all of the soldiers go and fight, shit, now a days most troops aren't fighting anymore, some troops are even disappearing. But if it wasn't for the U.S. sticking its nose in everything, a lot of countries wouldn't be getting help.
