Why doesn't he kiss?

Hey you guys!
What could be the reasons behind a guy not grabbing the opportunity to kiss a girl?
If they're lying down together.. he's caressing her and everything.. but when she brings herself closer to him.. he wouldn't kiss. Whats the matter?!
"threw you the obvious, and you flew with it on your back" hmmph! x(

Is it possible that he din't want to kiss her because she was drunk as fuck.. and had puked a little ?
Also.. If he doesn't feel for her that way.. why would he ask her to lie down next to him and caress her like that..?

 

He just got out of a long relationship.. Its been quite some time since he's been a little close to the new girl.. also told her once that he loves to chill with her and sometimes reaally feels something..

 

Because friends are sometimes physically close.
But don't kiss and all that, obviously.

and perhaps he was distracted by your body? and also, maybe he was being respectful since you were drunk/had vomit breath.

Afraid his breath is stank, or his breath is stank,
Afraid her breath is stank, or her breath is stank,
Afraid of getting the awkward face turn - despite evidence to the contrary because it's happened before and he no longer trusts his judgement,
He's not feeling "it" or into you,
Afraid of apparent sore on her lip - or rumor of past sores/kooties on lip, Has girlfriend/fiance/wife, doesn't want caressing to escalate into full blown cheating,
Has dirty underwear, stanky drawers, std, and/or micropenis.
Is deathly afraid of her boyfriend/fiance/husband.
You are, by all appearances, asleep, unconscious, or dead (which is a good sign, because it means he is scrupulous).
He is aware that you have terrifying psychic and/or magical powers and have set a precedence of using them to deadly effect on people (lovers in particular) that have upset you in the past.

I should just chill the fuck out.could be anything.. Maybe i should sit down and think, After all.. I know him better than any of you so maybe i should think deeper.... try and figure out what his reason could be...
though jamgrassphan i think the first 2 reasons.. and the second last could be it..

 

Honestly just ask him - if he likes you, you'll definitely get a straight answer else he'll flirt around it. Men don't play games if the lady is straight forward 99% of the time, go for it!

I can't do it. It's just extremely hard for me for some reaons, but what a rush though. Like I've been in many situations where it was obvious I was supposed to kiss the girl and I just couldn't bring myself to do it for some reason no matter how much I want to. What can i say, I'm shy.

to be honest, I don't understand the replies in this thread. People responded bad breath and gay before just simple shyness, which is the most likely answer. Is nobody else here a little shy when it comes to kissing girls and making moves? This is the internet.
