Several true friends. As some of you know a couple of years back it came time for a four way bypass and we needed the $s to get into something more stable than our van. Shameless_hefer a super moderator here @ HF and a communal sister of ours from decades ago in the hayday of the Haight Ashbury put the word out here and a dozen or so true brothers & sisters I hadn't seen in 30+ years came through for us along with a HFer or two weren't friends from the old days.....btw this part of the mountains are riddled with old mine shafts...Be very very careful...lol

 

I used to have 3 kids i consiered my best of friends.

Two of them moved to different states in middle school, so i never really see em anymore and the other one who still lives here i dont see much anymore either.

It kind of sucks becuz we used to have such fun times together

 

I am a very very fortunate person because I have 3 friends like that. We go months sometimes without talking and we understand each other's lives enough that we don't have to talk every day, but we are there for each other...through everything and anything.

The day my father died, it was 4am...I called my best friends to let them know and both of them called out of work, came to my house, and cried with me...they downright sobbed with me.

I keep a safe distance from my family. They are too judgmental and much more closed-minded than I am, so I consider my friends to be family. And they are the greatest family ever to exist.

 

No.

 

I have people who are in my life that without them it would have made living a lot more difficult without their support. I consider myself blessed to have them in my life and I make sure I take the time to let them know how very important and appreciated they are.

True friends, yes.

 

I know probably a dozen people that I would call if I needed help getting rid of a body:leaving:


and 5 years ago when we moved I posted on facebook I needed a little help. About 20 people showed up with 9 trucks.

You must be a likeable person.

I wish I could be, but only when it suits my needs, of course. lol
