i really like holy hack jack, and pervy in the park. actually, i love every one of their songs, but those ones stand out.

 

I dunno about 4 years ago, but 15 years ago Oi was all skinheads and lousy to boot. Not nessecarily rascist, but it was almost all skinheads so of course they did bring thier veiws into it.
never heard of seen it spelled Oy however.

 

Oi is just the same as punk, i myself was a oi!-listening skinhead for a time. Oi is just the old punk, nit that "good charlotte"-like crap, oi doesn't mean anti-fascist, what about Skrewdriver, or Foierstoß, thats nazi crap!

 

Oi is original punkrock. Oi was brought to the skinheadscene by skinheads, who were former punx. Oi is from the cockney dialect, and means as much as hi or that you have got something to say.
With the time more and more Nazis came into the scene, and also used the oi!-music, popular Nazibands are Skrewdriver, Brutal Attack, Blue eyed Devils, No remorse and Landser.
Sometimes oi is mixed up with ska.

!!! Usually skinheads hate hippies, and are doing not very nice things with us, like burning our hair, or bash us with their Steelcapboots!!!

I does. I got to see em just once, halloween 1992. Jack Black and the astroblasters opend. Joey Ramone came out and did Blitzkrieg bop with em, then came LUX and the merry cramptastics!!! I managed to get myself pinned against the barricade 5 feet to right of center stage for the all but the first 2 song of the show...LUX's saliva landed on me many times that show.......
