I read it and it was very brave of him to share that. A summery is What he wrote us: His mother committed suicide 20 years ago today. He has struggled with it for the past 20 years including having had suicidal thoughts of his own but he chose life. People who have been through post traumatic syndrome need to write and talk about it in order to heal. I think his story about his mother showed both bravery and strength. I have known 5 people who committed suicide. One person committed suicide after I made a shallow remark about his art. I was young. I know it was not my fault but when people have no empathy and make fun of a person who is suffering they are as shallow as I was 25 years ago. Some day that form of shallow behavior can slap you in the face.
