Where do you stand? LSD or 25i-nbome? I personally prefer LSD because it has a real feel and a spiritual feel to it. Acid is a more clean buzz IMO.
LSD! it's a more "real" trip. it has a long history of use and is quite safe, physically. 25i-nbome (+ 25c-nbome, the only way i've tried it) is not as great of a trip, IME. it did not exist in the known universe until ~2010 and in just 3 years it has produced seizures and other ill effects in people (the only model organism that has been used to study this drug by the way). the only "good" thing about it compared to LSD is that it's cheap and more available. i think it's kind of a silly post, because there is no competition. 25i is not "versus" LSD. just because it is often put on blotters doesn't imply that it's anything like LSD.
I prefer LSD, it's a more dynamic and flowing trip. The LSD trip overall has a more palpable quality to it which I find generally easier to flow with and of course its got the proven safety factor on its side. I've tried 25i-nbome twice, 25i-nbome is definitely a legitimate trip and my last trip with it gave me a psychedelic ass kicking. That 2nd and likely last 25i trip had moments of brillance with expanded perceptions of feeling connected to my brother, cat and enviornment but also had stretches of sort of an overbearing mechanized and cold alien sensations. Tack on the feeling of it being a new unstudied chem and incidents of hospitalizations and od's as porkstock mentioned, I definitely have reservations about exploring 25i or other nbome chems again.
I had so much hope for 25i when I first heard about it. I really wanted it to be a replacement for LSD, so I was in a position to really love it. But, other than the onset and the duration, it wasn't any closer to LSD than any other RC for me, and I really don't have much of a desire to use it again. It really wasn't that great, and nothing compared to LSD. Reading other reports, both with very good outcomes and incredibly bad outcomes (including these possible deaths) makes me think it varies in how it affects people. So, for those it works well for, I'm happy for you, and be careful sharing it with new people.
All Nbome has going for it is that it is legal. So the market is flooded with it because it can be bought for less then the black market price of LSD by unscrupulous dealers and passed off as acid to the buyer. And if your a chemist, it's good money playing the drug game if you can get past selling a somewhat dangerous chemical. I have taken it a few times, and it's better then no trip but it certainly carries a health risk not seen before with these type of drugs. If the user gives it respect there can be some value, but I would take LSD any day over NBOME. One day it will probably go the way of other RC's and be illegal. At that point you probably won't see as much of it because anyone cooking it will be taking the same risk as cooking acid. I do not know if it is easier for a chemist to cook then LSD, but given the same risk I would hope they would go for the safe and desired drug in LSD.
LSD of course. I see no good reason to use the new drugs coming out that claim to be identical to their illegal counterparts. I'll just go use the actual drug for the high I'm looking for.
