Dear Ocala Rainbow Gathering Family, I have received word from Tonee, Ocala's Rainbow/Forest Service liasion, that if we are seeking a new site for Ocala 2013, we should be starting now. I will be asking her and the FS for updates on the Lake Lou and Lake Dorr sites. However, I am promoting a well used site that is designed to work in coordination with the significant changes coming for Ocala. However, I will also be presenting all other reasonable ideas to the FS for consideration. Now is the time for those interested to contact me or the FS directly and begin the (approval) process. Nice. I just posted prior to seeing this post--asking if anyone has any information for the 2013 Gathering in the Ocala Forest.Please keep me posted...this will be my first time attending!

Just a quick question, we are leaving tommorow heading home, My 3 kiddos are coming to. Is ocala kid friendly? Its been a few years since I been down there. I just been readin sum stuff and Id like some reassurance.
Yes Ocala is kid friendly. I understand a Kiddie Village is setting up beginning Saturday. Find Momma Mac, Tanya or me (Barry) on Saturday and we'll get ya an update!
