Hey, I'm new! I've looked up this site for a while and just decided to join. I love the "hippie" lifestyle and hope to meet people like me here. I'm in highschool, so materialistic it disgusts me. I'm the only one in my classes that doesn't have a cellphone because they don't want one. I find that because I'm so different it gets lonely. That's why I signed up! Hey! That's definitely how I felt about high school. You mention feeling very different and lonely ... you might be an indigo child. I would research the topic on Google, and see if that fits who you are. I know I am, and I've met someone like me as well. No matter what, remember that you're not the only one who's dealing with the same thoughts and experiences. It may be tough now, but there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Trust me, I've been through it all. I would work on manifesting your dreams into reality, looking into chakra meditation, pursuing information online, as well as just getting to know yourself more. Screw trying to make friends with people who don't appreciate you. Just be yourself, and you'll attract those who will. Out of all my friends, I only have one who remains from high school. Heck, he was the only actual friend I had back then. Dig your username! And I love the hippie, psychedelic culture as well! ESPECIALLY the music. And while mind exploration is a risk in terms of legality in our society, I would highly recommend learning responsible use of it as well. Welcome and enjoy!

Hello and welcome! I hear ya about the cell phone thing. It disgusts me when a 10-year-old wants wants one. It's coming to the point to where little Timmy will tug on his mother's skirt and ask "Mommy? What's a book?". Disgusting! Anyways...enjoy the forums!
