i read about this last week. here in florida it was the first state to have a couple implant their kids for "safety" reasons
At first I thought it was about an implant, that's what talk of RFID tagging humans makes us think. But that's not worrisome at all. I mean, it's a shitty move by the school, but meh. I expect that the RFID portion could be removed, if one really cared about privacy, it's probably two laminated halves like a credit card, and it's function could be sabatoged. If it triggered attention, the worst they'd do is make you a new card. Challenging a tag because it's the mark of the beast is pretty fucking stupid. Challenging it because it's an unnecessary invasion of privacy is totally understandable. Watching you with radio frequency proximity chips isn't the same as visual spectrum cameras, or card readers to acces some areas or whatever. As to tagging people, it would be fucked up, but as long as the actual government is not doing it and it's parents or whatever, so you don't need it to make purchases or anything, it's not like it would work.... Get a tourniquet (just in case), a sharp knife or razor blade (x-acto, maybe), a LOT of rubbing alcohol, rags or sponges, cold water, super glue or thread and needle.... and fix that shit like a man.
I would add 2 bottles of strong whiskey and a cork. Pedophile hackers can track tagged kids just as easy as their parents. Remember that, parents out there.....
Well, I think cutting flesh is a bear-able pain at the time you do it. The pain would come as it healed
Yea I know. I would have to play it out like an old western where the cowboy pulls a bullet from his own flesh. That's how I roll
rifd signals are really really really easy to block. This is one case where the aluminum foil hat is actually rather useful!!
As I said, I was talking about the considerable more invasive idea of injecting chips into someone's body, like the vet does with animals in case they get lost. What's scarey with RFID is a society that functions without cash, with a government-monitored version of a credit card implanted, that's automatically scanned when you're charged for things. Even though it's not real tracking, with proper sanctioning and implementation, it could pose a real problem. One solution would be to forge chips, and carry only one un-shielded at a time, in a theatre style rubber flesh pad. And unless you're using your credit card, that doesn't matter at all. I mean, maybe you shouldn't carry it in your pocket if you go on the lam. But RFID is NOT an active tracking device, it's a passive circut that can be read when very close to the reader. I'm pretty sure that ten feet is a VERY long way for RFID chips, maybe entirely outside their range. In the school sense, it was probably so that if they wanted a particular student, or to ban one from somewhere, or to easily find the video feed of them playing hooky, they could just wait for their ID to show up in the radius of a scanner at a door. So again.... take a hairdryer, heat up the card, peel the halves apart, find the thing and mess it up, heat them back together, and step on it. Know what else is scary? ID numbers, especially when they're encoded in magnetic strips, like every credit card since the first
