I think there's a music, perhaps even festival, board. You're bound to get better responses there. And no, I'm not going. Their lineup is crap. We were playing with the idea when we thought the Stones would make an appearance. I don't even know a lot of the bands playing.
What are you talking about? There's tons of awesome acts performing there... I'd go just to see Dead Can Dance and Beach House. Lots of good old names performing there: New Order, Lou Reed, Johnny Marr, OMD, Dead Can Dance, Stone Roses, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds... Some of the new stuff is excellent, too: Beach House, Purity Ring, Hot Chip, Tame Impala, Aesop Rock... all superb.
i would go seeing as i live fairly close to where they have it but its expensive as fuck. and probably sold out already
Expensive and only one or two really good bands (by which I mean bands I like ). Definately a no no for me when there are better and cheap festies around!
