Recommend a book for me?

Hi I am interested in books that are a little crazy and weird sort of like naked lunch anything written by someone who has had a crazy life or did bunch of drugs I would really like to read something like that please comment something you think I would be interested in thank you!!:daisy::daisy::daisy::daisy:

 

You would probably like all of Hunter Thompson's work.

I started out with Hells Angels, then Rum Diary. And went on from there.

Everything he wrote falls along the lines you're looking for.

Electric Kool Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe is a classic. It follows Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters, and goes through the whole start up of the Greatful Dead.

I also liked the two I've read of Ken Kesey....One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Sometimes a Great Notion.

 

My favorite book and a very short read is the angry clam. Its a bit strange. If you have to buy it I wouldnt pay more than 5 dollars total.
i found it at the dollar store bargain bin.

 

Anything by Andrew Vachss, but specifically the Burke series. It's not your everyday read.

 

I suggest Wally Lamb...anything by him.

They are pretty crazy, but deep and interesting stories.

 

Anything by Louis-Ferdinand Céline, John Dolan or Mark Ames.

 

A couple of my favorite Tom Robbins books:

Very, very funny and interesting author: David Sedaris (brother of comedianne Amy Sedaris)

If your into books like "Naked Lunch" I would suggest anything by Charles Bukowski usually plenty of alcohol and sex in those books. "Gravity's Rainbow" is another mind-trip book full of hallucinations and crazy stuff.
