If you define a hippie as one who goes against traditional society because they see the flaws in it's design. And instead follow their own path that is more in tune with a healthy and happy life. Then yes I am a hippie.
I feel that I am an evolved stoner-hippie lol... - I grew up in the 70's with amazing musical influences that started my passion for music - I have learned the importance of respecting the planet in which we live so that we can enjoy all it has to offer (huge nature lover, except spiders..hehe) - I am a total sap when it comes to animals, but I am not a vegan or vegetarian - I believe in Love not war...smoke a joint and chill a while - I have smoked pot daily for about 30 years now lol (I am 44)...have had a great full time job for over 25 years and going strong, and a loving family. I care about people and love life...To each their own...believe in whatever you want just don't preach me lol. I have always lived in a city, but dream of a life in a remote area, living off the land, sharing and caring...Good tunes, fresh air, amazing food, and kickass weed :ssmokeit:. Peace eh! eace:
We should all lives happy because one time we got life and think we all enjoy it fully and main thing either happiness or sad days but we enjoy it fully//////:bobby:
the first hippies grew their hair long and got into fist fights with the cops struggling for social change...
I think I'm a hippie. But not one of those rich kids who go wild. I'm a poor kid who goes wild. and I like plants. And art. and shit like that. I like festivals. Idk. That sorta good shit.
I definitely qualify, by that very good definition. I never did a lot of the more superficial stuff, except for wearing blue jeans and taking some recreational drugs.
I think being a hippy is a certain mindset.. not the way you look. Anyone can be a hippy.. No one can tell you that you can't act a certain way or have a certain belief system. peace
