super bowl ads really sucked

I didn't watch many of them. I think that most ads suck generally. Ads almost never make me any more likely to buy a product, but they do often make me certain that I'll never buy a product because their ads just suck that bad.

that's generally how i am too.

i didn't really pay much attention to the ads either. all i really noticed is that there seemed to be a lot of car ads that had absolutely nothing to do with cars until they flashed the logo right at the end.

I like the star trek advert.

 

Only one I enjoyed was the old Budweiser one with the Clydesdale and its owner. Rest of them were weird.

there have been studies on this.. and even though you think the ads don't get to you, they do. money talks, and people are paying millions of dollars for airtime.

 

I watched the whole Super Bowl and of course all of the adverts. I was highly disappointed in them! Yes, the one with the Clydesdale was very touching, as was the one about being a farmer. However, in years past there have always been super funny, witty and dang memorable commercials!

I was looking very forward to seeing those stupid ads (as well the Super Bowl), so I also think they sucked.

I was very pleased with the game. :2thumbsup:

Wait what? In America people look forward to watching adverts?

 

LOL...bird, I can't speak for anybody but myself. (Apparently) I live a simple life. It takes very little to make me happy.

If I had been able to plant pansies in the fall (which I wasn't) I would now be ecstatic.

Well yeah same here, it takes little to make me happy. But watching an advertisement is not one of them.

 

getting excited for new 'funny' ads is a perfect example of reverse psychology to get people to watch more tv.

 

Ha! But I already watch TV anyway . The ads for this bowl were a major fail. You'll not see me buying any bud in the black bottle...and I can't remember any other product they even advertised.

But, I don't speak for everybody. Others may very well be seeking out that black bud bottle.

 

Yeah, I rather drink real beer.
