I'm going to one store tomorrow, I'll be up 5 am to stand outside in a line when its -24 dark and snowing and windy. the reason is a 200gig hard drive for $104.99 canadain, figure bout $75 us. im running out of room to install games. for you americans, the boxing day sale is purly a canadian thing. . 5 years ago i stood outside for 6 hours in -40 weather to get my sterio system. the store opend at 9 I was ther 3am. a few peole where actually their before me
i have to get groceries too. ::takes a moment to ponder how many games would fit onto a 200 gig hard drive:: that's a good deal.
even if they were giving away a high end stereo system, there's no chance in hell you catch me waiting in line for six hours.
really? i thought the merkins did boxing day sales too. oh well, you guys miss out on all the fun then.
Too many people stealing my precious oxygen and stepping on the heels of my feet... However...i think im going to suck it up and do it all over again this year.
i really wanna get a pair of slippers... but im gonna wait til next weekend prolly. cant stand all those crowds.
I'm shopped out. I hope I don't have to shop for a month....well, maybe some groceries will be necessary at some point.
in general, i hate shopping. that's why i have next to nothing.... im a female with two pairs of shoes... think about that. one is sneakers and one is flip flops. haha.
People who go shopping on boxing day are insane. you see on the news people getting trampled on while everyone runs into the store. people have died and lost their fingers and shit. its not worth it just to get a few bargains.
it's not like that around here. people are usually so polite with an "excuse me" here and an "oops sorry" there, and an "hey look at this deal over here!" and the occasional "did you have a good christmas". the only raging type person i encountered was my bad neighbour. he announced that he was going to punch the next person who bumped into him in the fucking head. i think i helped him chill out a bit though, i asked him if he was having a hard time and commiserated with him for a moment about how crowded the store was. (it wasnt really even very busy, considering) i dont think he was expecting someone he knew to bump into him. LOL anyways, he chilled right out i did get some good deals though. yay me! ps, does that make me a capitalist?
