Ok so a friend of mine just finished growing and had to move and did not want to start another garden so he is letting me use his stuff..which I will most likely buy..anyways...

So I just started going....he gave me a couple book he had and some freebie seeds he got... I have 3 kinds of germinated seeds in 3 different clear plastic cups in soil that is 1/2 perilite and 1/2 vermiculite.

right now I have 4 sprouts

it is a small 4x4 closet...3 48" flourecent grow tubes...I forgot the specs

Along with a metal halide(Ithink) light for the next stages..

    So how am I doing?

    Couple questions for the experts...

Air - should I be concerned about air circulation at this point? Should I turn the ionizer on now?

Watering - I suck..I am pretty sure I will either drown these things or dry them out... any secrets on how to tell when they need water..how much is enough? etc...

    thanks guys :) and gals

Get em transed into soil asap,Its always good to keep air moving in the closet (oscillating fan) but not directly on the seedlings, wait till they are a week or 2 old.The halide will be good for veg but wrong spectrum for flower, get a hps or a conversion bulb. For watering keep medium moist but not saturated. It will not take you too long to figure out the right watering schedule bearing onb container size. What size Mh do you have as they produce alot of heat and you will run into heat probs so a squirrel/centrifigal fan will be needed to exhaust.(HEAT KILLS)Good luck
